Composer, Conductor, Arranger

biografia

I am a French composer and conductor, living in Switzerland. I have a classical music education and have the following diplomas from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris: Violin, Chamber Music, Orchestration, Harmony, Counterpoint, Fugue.

As a composer, I write for chamber ensembles as well as for a full symphonic orchestra. In 2011 I had two of my symphonic scores performed by professional orchestras: a symphonic tale for children with narrator, and a new film music for the classical silent movie "Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligari" (commissioned by the european film philharmonic institute). Some of my compositions are written for educational purposes, mixing the enjoyment of chamber music with performance exercise studies.

As a conductor, I work at the Theater St. Gallen , where I conduct a very broad repertoire from Mozart, Rossini, Verdi, Puccini, Ravel or Shostakovich. In September 2011, I conducted the first performance of my symphonic tale "Filippo und der Wunderbaum " after a children book by Swiss author Eveline Hasler, with the Sinfonieorchester St. Gallen.
